Chief Advancement Officer Corvilla, Inc. - 3.0 Granger, IN Job Details Full-time $75,000 - $80,000 a year 3 hours ago Benefits 403(b) matching Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 403(b) Life insurance Qualifications Research Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Advancement Officer to be responsible for overseeing mission advancement, community and public relations, strategic marketing, special events coordination, Corvilla's social enterprise, and non-programmatic fundraising activities. This position is directly responsible for building relationships with prospective community partners and donors, including fostering new donor relationships and maintaining previous benefactors.
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Communicate and meet with current and prospective donors to strengthen relationships.
- Canvas and build relationships with local businesses and proprietors to raise awareness of organization and identify potential partnership opportunities.
- Plan and coordinate special events for community engagement, brand awareness and fundraising.
- Oversee fundraising including donor development, database, and tracking systems.
- Steer corporate marketing and branding, including public relations, print communications and social media reach.
- Supervise and guide the development team, overseeing the execution of their tasks, including: Grant seeking, including research, proposal writing, and reporting requirements, and ensuring consistent engaging social media content.

- Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
- Have knowledge and experience in fundraising techniques, particularly major gift fundraising.
- Possess the skills to work with and motivate staff, board members and other volunteers.
- Have the desire to be in the community and build external relationships.
- Be a self-starter and goal driven.
- Be organized and exhibit follow-through on projects and tasks.
- Display a positive attitude, show concern for people and community, demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense, and good listening ability.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with three years minimum experience in fundraising, advancement, strategic marketing and/or nonprofit management.
- CFRE certification is an asset.

Pay:
