The Rail is looking for a Marketing & Community Engagement Manager who knows how to build relationships, create buzz, and turn community connections into ticket sales. This is a high-energy, people-focused role for someone who would rather be out in the community than behind a desk. You'll represent The Rail throughout Lexington and Central Kentucky, build partnerships with local businesses and organizations, promote live shows and events, and create marketing opportunities that bring new audiences through our doors. If you're naturally outgoing, love live entertainment, enjoy networking, and know how to make things happen, we want to meet you. What You'll Do Show & Event Marketing Develop and execute marketing plans for concerts, events, and venue programming. Create campaigns tailored to each artist, event, audience, and market. Drive awareness and ticket sales through digital, social media, radio, print, grassroots marketing, promotions, partnerships, and other channels. Partner with corporate marketing, ticketing, production, and talent teams to execute campaigns. Review ticket sales and campaign performance and recommend strategies to improve attendance. Community Engagement & Networking Serve as a visible ambassador for The Rail throughout Lexington and Central Kentucky. Build relationships with local businesses, universities, nonprofits, tourism organizations, chambers of commerce, sports organizations, and community leaders. Attend networking events, festivals, community gatherings, and industry events on behalf of The Rail. Identify creative opportunities to introduce The Rail to new audiences. Grassroots Marketing Develop street-team and grassroots marketing initiatives. Coordinate flyer distribution, poster placement, promotional appearances, ticket giveaways, and community activations. Build promotional partnerships with local restaurants, retailers, gyms, coffee shops, bars, and other businesses. Create creative campaigns that generate excitement and conversation around upcoming events. Ticket Sales & Audience Development Develop community ticket programs and group sales opportunities. Build relationships with local employers, organizations, schools, and community groups. Identify new audiences and market segments for The Rail's programming. Develop promotions and partnerships designed to increase ticket sales and attendance. Brand, Social Media & Public Relations Increase The Rail's visibility and reputation throughout Central Kentucky. Develop relationships with local media, influencers, content creators, and community personalities. Coordinate interviews, media opportunities, public appearances, and community activations. Capture photos and videos at events and help create authentic, community-focused social content. Identify local social media opportunities and partnerships. Partnerships & Sponsorships Identify and develop local sponsorship and promotional opportunities. Create mutually beneficial partnerships with businesses and community organizations. Help develop partnership packages and track results and ROI. Represent The Rail at concerts, private events, and community functions.
