Meta is building a field-forward Local Partnerships team to deepen Meta's relationships and positively impact in the communities where we operate. We're looking for a Local Partnerships Lead to serve as Meta's dedicated, full-time presence in Indiana - a locally rooted relationship-builder who can develop meaningful, mutually beneficial partnerships with universities, sports teams, creators, local media, and civic and cultural organizations. This is a builder role for someone with deep local relationships who thrives working independently on the ground.

Serve as Meta's local representative in the assigned region, building and sustaining strong, lasting relationships with community institutions and leaders Develop and manage mutually beneficial partnerships with local universities, sports teams, creators, local and regional media, and cultural organizations Design and deliver local programs and initiatives that create shared value for the community and for Meta. Act as a two-way bridge - sharing community priorities and feedback with Meta, and helping Meta show up as a responsive, engaged neighbor Bring Meta's national programs (e.g., education initiatives) to life locally Represent Meta at local events, facility tours, and community moments, and strengthen relationships with community leaders and partners Manage local partnership agreements and budgets, and collaborate with central partnerships, policy, communications, and economic-development teams. In particular, partner closely with Meta's Community Development and Public Affairs teams so that partnership work complements existing community efforts Track and report on the reach and impact of local partnerships and programs Travel to communities throughout the state as needed (up to 50%)

10+ years of experience in community engagement, partnerships, public affairs, economic development, or a related field Established relationships and credibility with stakeholders in Indiana (e.g., education, business, media, and community leaders) Demonstrated experience building and managing external partnerships from the ground up Proven ability to operate autonomously and lead initiatives in-region with minimal day-to-day oversight Experience communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, including representing an organization to senior external audiences, including experience representing an organization to senior external audiences

Experience engaging communities around major development or infrastructure initiatives An established network across Indiana universities, sports, media, and cultural institutions A background in partnerships / business development Experience adapting national programs into local execution Master of Public Administration or Master of Business Administration Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
