Help Shape the Future of Communications in One of Minnesota's Most Dynamic Cities The City of Brooklyn Park is investing in the future of public-sector communications. Through a newly restructured Communications Division, the City is building a modern communications organization that strengthens public trust, elevates resident engagement, supports informed decision-making, and positions communications as a strategic partner across the organization. This transformation is an opportunity to help build a best-in-class municipal communications function from the ground up. The City is seeking a Communications Director who is energized by strategic leadership, collaboration, and meaningful public service. The inaugural Communications Director will provide senior leadership and strategic direction for all internal and external communications. Serving as the City's senior communications strategist and primary spokesperson, the Director will advise the City Manager, Assistant City Manager, City Council, Mayor, and department directors while leading a talented, growing communications team.
