Job Description

The Kansas City Mavericks are looking for a driven, enthusiastic intern to join our team during the 2026 - 2027 season. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor with the ability to communicate clearly with supervisors at all levels (both internally and externally) and take pride in all work completed. The individual needs to be detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and meet demanding deadlines. Individual must also have the ability to work independently, take initiative, provide solutions, and make informed decisions. Essential Duties Support community engagement initiatives, including but not limited to, planning, setup, and on-site activation Provide gameday support to the Manager of Community Relations, help with gameday activation elements related to various community partners, theme nights, and in-game activations Participate in the planning and execution of various player events in the community, ensuring a strong team presence and engagement Help manage the coordination and fulfillment of community donation requests and auction packages Interact with clients, answer questions regarding community initiatives, promotions, and gameday procedures, and resolve situations as necessary Assist with the setup, management, and breakdown of the promotional table during home games Help gameday staff with door giveaways, intermission activities, and other various theme night promotions Other roles and responsibilities may be required Qualifications Current college student (undergraduate or graduate).
