This position is located in the Community and Public Affairs Service of the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System (GCVHCS) in Biloxi, MS.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
One year specialized experience that equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in Federal service.
Examples of qualifying experience include:
leading/supervising employees in a public affairs office/program; assisting in the development and execution of a public affairs office/program for a healthcare organization; providing advice and assistance on the implementation of public affairs operations plans, policies, and directives; ensuring program compliance; experience with media relations; and communicating effectively both verbally and in writing with a variety of people (i.e. patients, staff, media, community officials, and the general public). This experience must be detailed in your resume to receive credit.
