Job Description
At Cannon School, relationships are at the heart of our community. We are seeking an experienced, relational leader to serve as our next Director of Alumni and Family Engagement—a role dedicated to strengthening meaningful connections with our alumni, families, grandparents, volunteers, and friends of Cannon. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, the Director of Alumni and Family Engagement serves as a trusted ambassador for the School, cultivating lifelong relationships through thoughtful outreach, engaging programs and events, and opportunities for meaningful involvement. This individual will help foster a strong sense of belonging, inspire advocacy and philanthropy, and ensure members of the Cannon community feel heard, valued, and connected. The ideal candidate is a gifted relationship builder who leads with warmth, empathy, professionalism, and sound judgment. They thrive on connecting with people, navigating conversations with care, and creating experiences that strengthen community. Working closely with the Advancement team, Alumni Board, Parents at Cannon (PAC), and colleagues across campus, this position plays an important role in advancing Cannon's mission and strategic vision while helping build a vibrant culture of lifelong engagement.
