Job Description

Carolina Caring is seeking a dynamic Director of Community Engagement to join our passionate and mission-driven team dedicated to serving patients and families across our community.
Position Purpose:
The Director of Community Engagement enhances the visibility and awareness of Carolina Caring by cultivating meaningful relationships, developing strategic business partnerships, and fostering strong referral sources. Through education, outreach, and active presence in the community, this role serves as a visible representative of Carolina Caring, strengthening partnerships and positioning us as the preferred choice for serious illness and hospice care. This role will primarily serve Catawba, Alexander, and Iredell counties , helping build strong connections with healthcare partners, community organizations, and local leaders.
Education:
A bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, communications, public health, social services, or related health care disciplines are desirable.
Experience:
A minimum of five years' experience in health care is required. One to three years of marketing experience in a hospice or home health environment and/or experience with teaching, training, public speaking, and community development is preferred.
