Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Travel Bring your emergency nursing expertise to a dynamic healthcare environment, where you will play a crucial role in a fast-paced Emergency Department. Utilize your RN-ER skills to provide high-quality care and positively impact patient outcomes across a wide spectrum of medical emergencies.
Schedule/Hours:
Orientation provided bi-weekly for seamless transition Flexible contract-based assignment
Qualifications & Experience:
Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room experience Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver compassionate nursing care to critically ill and trauma patients in a 32-bed Emergency Department Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a large community hospital with 355 beds and advanced specialty centers, including neurology, cardiac, cancer, and orthopedics Provide patient and family education and support during stressful and emergent situations Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes Respond to rapid changes in patient condition and initiate life-saving interventions when necessary Ensure adherence to best practices and hospital protocols to achieve excellent patient safety standards
