PART-TIME
remote job. This job does require some in-person attendance, but not much. You must be Flexible with your time, to complete the tasks as required. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Advocacy Coordinator to lead the communication efforts of our North Carolina Medical Association . Some responsibilities that you will have:
  • Grant Writing, or at least a very strong understanding
  • Updating the Association Newsletter, and distributing it to member.
  • Updating the Social Media websites as needed
  • Attending a 1-day event yearly, at the NC Capitol Building
  • Attending the annual conference in May. This will likely be in Raleigh or Charlotte. You will travel on Thursday, and attend the conference through noon on Sunday.
  • Work independently to complete tasks assigned by the Board Members
  • Work with the lobbyist team to help achieve goals of the Board Members
  • Talk to Board Members and give updates to key personnel
  • Organizing Events
  • Scheduling travel and lodging arrangements The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree, perhaps in Communications. And the ideal candidate will have a pleasant and confident personality.
  • This is a Contractor Position.
Will pay approximately $35-$45 per hour for your time. As a contractor, you will need to pay all of your own taxes, as you will be your own business.
