POSITION SUMMARY

The Element451 CRM Consultant partners with colleges and universities to address their CRM and engagement platform requirements within the established scope and budget. As a member of the Professional Services team, the consultant will collaborate with institutions to design, implement, and optimize Element451 solutions for admissions, marketing, communications, and student success. This position requires both an understanding of higher education enrollment processes and technical proficiency to configure, automate, and customize Element451 according to client needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and configure Element451 CRM and engagement workflows to align with client recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation, including data mappings, automations, forms, campaigns, and integrations.
  • Support clients by troubleshooting issues, resolving errors, and answering functional or technical questions about Element451 and connected systems.
  • Analyze and document requirements for data flows, automation rules, communication campaigns, integrations, and user experiences.
  • Build and maintain campaigns, journeys, and communications within Element451 to support the full student lifecycle.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and best-practice guidance for staff and administrators.
  • Lead implementations, data migrations, and integrations between Element451 and SIS, LMS, or other campus systems.
  • Perform audits and assessments of existing Element451 instances to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to design automated, personalized engagement strategies using Element451 tools and AI capabilities.
  • Stay current with updates to the Element451 platform and broader CRM/marketing automation best practices in higher education.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with CRM systems in higher education, with hands-on Element451 experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with CRM implementation, configuration, automation design, and end-user training.
  • Familiarity with data integrations and APIs between CRM and enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, Banner, Colleague, Slate, or Salesforce).
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical CRM solutions.
  • Travel may be required for client or internal business needs.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Working knowledge of Element451 features: journeys, automations, campaigns, segments, AI tools, and communications.
  • Proficiency with HTML/CSS and comfort working with data in SQL or Excel; experience with APIs or webhooks is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of CRM data structures, communication workflows, and student engagement analytics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
  • Proven experience managing multiple client projects with attention to detail and timelines.
