The Family Counseling Center of Fulton County, Inc. is seeking an experienced and creative Communications Manager to lead the day-to-day development and execution of our internal and external communications. This is an opportunity for a strong communications professional to make a meaningful impact in a mission-driven behavioral health organization. The Communications Manager will help tell the story of TFCC, our programs, services, staff, community partnerships, accomplishments, and impact, while ensuring staff, clients, community partners, referral sources, media, and the broader community receive clear, timely, and engaging information. What You'll Do You'll serve as TFCC's primary communications resource and work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, leadership, program teams, and operational staff to: Develop and implement communications strategies that support Agency priorities, programs, services, community engagement, and staff engagement. Lead day-to-day communications across social media, website, email, newsletters, print materials, presentations, and other digital channels. Write, edit, proofread, and coordinate high-quality content for a variety of audiences. Manage the Agency's communications and content calendars. Develop engaging social media content, monitor engagement, and coordinate appropriate responses. Manage website content and coordinate updates with internal staff and external partners. Support internal communications, staff engagement, recognition, wellness initiatives, events, and organizational updates. Develop press releases, media statements, talking points, fact sheets, and other external communications. Build professional relationships with media outlets, community organizations, referral partners, and other stakeholders. Help increase community awareness of TFCC's programs, services, resources, accomplishments, and community impact. Ensure communications are accurate, accessible, inclusive, culturally responsive, professional, and appropriate for the intended audience. Coordinate with TFCC's outsourced branding resource when specialized branding or design support is needed. What We're Looking For We're looking for a communications professional who can take ownership, work independently, collaborate across departments, and turn complex information into clear and engaging communications.

Ideal candidates will have:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. 3-5 years of progressive experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field. Experience developing and coordinating internal and external communications across multiple channels. Experience with social media, website content management, digital communications, media relations, and communications analytics. Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences with professionalism and respect. Strong judgment and discretion when working with sensitive or confidential information. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team. Creativity, initiative, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Commitment to cultural competence, equity, inclusion, and ongoing professional development. Experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, or community-based organization is a plus.

Travel:

Occasional travel for community outreach, meetings, training, and Agency events may be required. Additional flexibility may occasionally be needed to support special projects, deadlines, community events, and Agency activities.
