intern Remote/Hybrid | Six-Month Unpaid Internship Women Who Influence is accepting applications for a six-month Event & Community Engagement Internship for emerging professionals interested in civic leadership, public service, entrepreneurship, and community impact. Women Who Influence is a nonprofit organization working at the intersection of entrepreneurship, economic development, women's leadership, and civic engagement . Through leadership events, small-business programming, community conversations, and cross-sector partnerships, we bring together the people and institutions helping move communities forward. Our work connects entrepreneurs with leaders across government, business, philanthropy, finance, media, and community development. This is not a traditional event internship. Interns will receive a behind-the-scenes view of how mission-driven events and civic initiatives are developed from early strategy and stakeholder outreach to public-facing execution. The Experience Selected interns will support Women Who Influence leadership events and initiatives involving entrepreneurs, government agencies, elected officials, economic-development organizations, corporate partners, financial institutions, community leaders, speakers, honorees, and members of the media. Interns will learn how nonprofit organizations build relationships across the public, private, and community sectors to create programs, partnerships, and opportunities with meaningful public impact. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning and execution of major Women Who Influence events
• Support outreach to civic leaders, government agencies, speakers, honorees, partners, and community organizations
• Prepare professional correspondence, briefing materials, schedules, research, and guest information
• Research prospective partners, institutions, businesses, and community stakeholders
• Support guest relations, registration, event communications, and on-site coordination
• Assist with event promotion, media preparation, and digital communications
• Participate in planning meetings and post-event follow-up
• Represent Women Who Influence professionally during public-facing events Professional Development Throughout the internship, participants will gain practical experience in:
