Opportunity Description The Celebrity Relations Manager builds and stewards relationships with high-profile individuals who can expand the Jay Fund's reach, awareness, and impact. Reporting to the Director of Communications, this position serves as the primary liaison for celebrities engaged with or connected to the organization, including Celebrity Ambassadors, cultivating meaningful connections to the Jay Fund's mission and creating opportunities for them to support families, engage donors, participate in events, and build awareness through creative and authentic partnerships. Through these relationships, the Celebrity Relations Manager works to foster a genuine commitment to the Jay Fund's mission while building a strong network of celebrity supporters that strengthens the organization's relevance, visibility, and long-term success. The preferred location for this position is at the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation's headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida. Candidates based in the NY/NJ market will also be considered. Regular travel between markets is required.Compensation:
This position offers a salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 Benefits include:- Nine (9) paid holidays

- Access to medical reimbursement and a 3% retirement match after one year of employment Essential duties and responsibilities Drives the execution of the Jay Fund's Celebrity Strategy across the Jacksonville and NY/NJ Markets, in partnership with the Director of Communications.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with Celebrity's agents, managers, publicists, and other representatives to strengthen engagement, identify opportunities for collaboration, and support long-term relationships with the Jay Fund.
- Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with Celebrity Ambassadors by identifying opportunities to highlight their involvement, amplify their platforms, and ensure meaningful engagement with the Jay Fund's mission and activities. Partner with Development to identify fundraising, sponsorship, donor-engagement, and relationship-building opportunities for celebrities.
- Partner with the Development team to procure sports memorabilia and other auction items for signature fundraising events, including engaging celebrity supporters, tracking inventory, and assisting with the development of auction packages.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- Experience in relationship management, business development, fundraising, sponsorship, community engagement, talent relations, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate professional relationships that lead to meaningful engagement, partnerships, revenue, or other measurable outcomes.
- Experience building or significantly strengthening a program or initiative, including establishing systems, processes, timelines, and accountability measures.
- Strong project-management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple relationships, events, appearances, deadlines, and follow-up activities simultaneously.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the confidence to communicate with high-profile individuals, executives, board members, donors, sponsors, and community partners.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with experience maintaining relationship records, contact histories, commitments, and next steps in a CRM or similar system.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare correspondence, briefings, engagement plans, presentations, and program updates.
- Collaborative working style and demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively across departments while maintaining ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Willingness to travel between the Jacksonville and NY/NJ markets and work occasional evenings and weekends for events and appearances.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, communications, marketing or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of client relationship or sales experience.
