Role Summary Reporting into the Scientific Operations team in Vaccines, you will manage and implement communications plans and organize activities that deepen colleague engagement/trust, and other site actions that accelerate site business performance and enhance Pearl River's site reputation externally. What You Will Achieve In this role, you will partner with colleagues across the Scientific Affairs and Operations teams on shared goals and deliverables involving: Site Affairs Lead Pearl River Site Affairs projects, either alone or in partnership. This includes planning meetings and events for senior leaders and Pearl River Site Leadership Team such as All-Hands Meetings, VIP site visits, Science Summits, colleague engagement events, onboarding new hires and interns, etc. Coordinate support functions for events and activities, e.g., catering, AV equipment, communications. Manage overall Pearl River site calendar of events, working with colleagues, administrative professionals and Leadership Team members as appropriate. Internal Communications Develop long-term strategic plan and day-to-day management of an integrated communications program across multiple channels (e.g., Engage posts, Site Newsletter, e-signs, emails) for the Pearl River site. Manage editorial calendar ensuring balance across themes and in alignment with site goals, messaging, and news and in collaboration with messaging from other groups Grow Pearl River's internal social media channels Point of contact to liaise with digital, media and R D communications to identify opportunities to highlight Pearl River at Corporate level Provide metrics assessing reader interest in newsletters, emails, posts etc. and look for ways to increase readership and engagement Refine Pearl River's SharePoint site and generate content for ensuring it is fresh, engaging, resonates with on-site colleagues, and published in a timely manner Research, write, publish short/long-form articles, executive leadership emails, videos, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, etc. and ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, simplicity of language and news impact Responsible for the technical skills and working knowledge to manage technical aspects of the Site's SharePoint and emails External Engagement Inspire and sustain an active interest in STEM education among students in regions where Pfizer Vaccine R D has a presence Lead programing for Interns and Rotational Associates on site at Pearl River Advance STEM education to local schools: Point of Contact with local school administrations Organize interested Pearl River colleagues to present materials by fostering an active and inclusive environment for interested scientists and clinicians When applicable, offer career exploration sessions and Q&A between Pfizer colleagues and local schools and students Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements) Bachelor's degree with a minimum 5 years of work experience in Communications, Program Management and/or Operations Experience working well both in a team environment as well as working independently with minimal supervision Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience communicating with colleagues at all levels of the organization Experience successfully managing priorities and meeting deadlines Experience working with highly sensitive, confidential material and information Excellent keyboarding and proofreading skills Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CoPilot Flexibility to work beyond normal work hours when needed Model Pfizer Values and Pfizer Core Competencies Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements) Experience in the pharma, biotech sector or life sciences Knowledge of Pfizer organization processes and procedures Proficiency in Gemini and/or other AI platforms
