Full Time Summary:
Monitors and ensures the safety of patrons, employees and vendors and protect the assets of the MNGE via closed circuit television. Receives, dispatches, records and maintains communications via radio and telephone with security officers, Emergency Responders, employees and patrons as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES 1.
Monitor a. Monitor indoor and outdoor activities at MNGE via security cameras. b. Receive, monitor and dispatch radio communication traffic. c. Must follow all policies and procedures set forth by the Office of Public Gaming, MNGE Employee Handbook and Security. d. Works effectively in a confined area, closely with others and in a mutually supportive and compatible fashion; maintain concentration despite distractions or interruptions; remain calm and courteous under stressful or evolving situations. e. Monitor weather radio as required and notify appropriate personnel about impending weather situations. f. Prioritize and handle efficiently, effectively, and simultaneously multiple tasks, including telephone, radios and monitoring cameras. g. Additional duties as assigned. 2. Communication a. Employs correct usage of 10-Codes, phonetic alphabet and efficient message construction for outgoing/incoming radio transmissions, and speaks clearly and in a manner that is easy to understand. b. Remain calm and speak in a professional and authoritative manner when dealing with telephone situations that may include upset or hostile individuals. c. Notify appropriate emergency personnel in the event of an emergency. d. Relay pertinent information (incidents, complaints or personnel problems) that occur on his/her shift to the supervisor/manager. e. Distribute incident reports and other pertinent information to intended parties. f. Utilizes a variety of office equipment effectively and efficiently including, but not limited to, copy machine, computer, telephone, fax machine, camera monitors, and digital camera. g. Meet and greet each guest or team member with our mission in mind, to create an enjoyable environment where Trust, Respect, Accountability, Customer, and Knowledge shine. 3. Record Keeping a. Completes and maintains various logs and forms including, but not limited to: Traffic Logs, Inventory Log, Call-in Log, Camera Log, Incident Report Log and Banishment Form/Log. b. Ability to search for information from various sources such as logs, records or files in order to respond requests, investigations and other searches for relevant security information. c. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with members of the casino organization.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
EXPERIENCE
Class II or III Casino experience preferred. Basic Computer Skills required including word processing, Email, electronic time clock, using a copier/printer, and etc…
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS MCN OPG
Gaming License is required. Valid Oklahoma Driver's License is required. Key positions require knowledge and application of Title 31 reporting requirements. Employee must successfully pass Departmental Basic Security Training and Use of Force. Ability to obtain and maintain armed license; if applicable.
JOB DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job. Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, work in confined spaces, crawl on knees, raise/reach arms overhead and work effectively whilst doing so. Must also have the mobility to, bend down, pick up, and get in and out of a variety of on-site vehicles. Must be able to stand long periods of time and/or walk in excess of 1 mile per shift. Has ability to lift and carry at least 30 lbs. frequently, lift 40 lbs. and carry 50', carry 35 lbs. a distance of 500' Push/pull/drag 150 lbs. 25', and run 8mph for 100yds. Ability to maneuver in all areas of casino, frequent ascent/descent from bus stairs, travel to various on/off site venues, which may involve elevation changes in surfaces. Visual acuity to discern and examine text, graphics, color and symmetry. Speech to communicate clearly, express ideas and convey information in an understandable manner. Ability to hear for listening comprehension and to understand ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Manual dexterity to operate office equipment and examine documents, records and files. Mental capacity to monitor sometimes complex driving situations to make quick decisions to manipulate/maneuver vehicles in crowded or high-risk areas; tolerate stress, conduct tasks under critical deadlines. Ability to concentrate on task over a period of time without being distracted. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing functions of his/her job. Work in motor vehicle, casino operations and external environments; exposure to second hand smoke, high noise level, bright lights, fluctuating temperatures/weather conditions. This classification is a "safety sensitive" position as defined by MNGE. As a "safety sensitive" classification, you will be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening. Possession of a medical marijuana license will not excuse you from the testing process, or the consequences of testing positive for marijuana.
