We are seeking a warm, motivated Director of Community Relations to lead sales, marketing, and community outreach at The Springs at Tanasbourne. Our community offers 230 apartment homes across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, helping older adults and families find the lifestyle, services, and support that fit their needs. In this role, you will partner closely with the Executive Director and lead two Community Relations team members. You will guide prospective residents and families through the decision-making process while overseeing outreach, events, and relationship-based sales that support occupancy and move-in goals. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, compassionate, and confident communicating with a wide variety of people. You enjoy building connections, creating memorable experiences, and helping older adults and families navigate important decisions with empathy and professionalism. Responsibilities Include Welcome prospective residents, families, and visitors to The Springs at Tanasbourne. Conduct community tours and present the lifestyle, amenities, services, and culture of The Springs Living. Develop and execute outreach strategies that support occupancy goals. Cultivate partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and local businesses. Achieve occupancy and move-in goals through relationship-based sales and consistent follow-up. Manage inquiries, follow up on leads, and maintain ongoing communication throughout the move-in process. Plan and execute marketing events, community outreach activities, and networking opportunities. Lead sales and marketing initiatives in partnership with the Executive Director and community leadership team. Create a positive, hospitality-focused experience for every visitor and family interaction. Represent The Springs Living professionally both inside and outside the community. Represent the department at community leadership meetings, sharing updates on sales activity, outreach, occupancy goals, and team performance. Manage and provide leadership to two Community Relations team members, including coaching, training, goal setting, and performance development. Qualifications Experience in sales, senior living, hospitality, customer service, marketing, or community relations. Experience leading, coaching, and developing a team. Experience in Assisted Living, Independent Living, Memory Care, healthcare, or hospitality preferred. Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills. Confidence presenting and speaking with individuals and groups. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through. Event planning, outreach, or networking experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general technology. Familiarity with social media and digital communication for business purposes preferred. A positive attitude, flexibility, and a collaborative team mindset. Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Physical Requirements and Work Environment This position involves frequent standing and walking throughout the community, including extended periods of up to five hours; lifting up to 50 pounds; and pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and reaching. The role requires manual dexterity to handle materials and perform daily tasks and may involve light to heavy physical activity. Work may involve exposure to blood and bodily fluids, sharps, animal dander, and latex. Essential duties must be performed safely and effectively, with or without reasonable accommodation.
