Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and strategic Director of Marketing and Communications to lead our organization's branding, marketing initiatives, and internal and external communications. Compensation Range Base Salary:
$65,000-$75,000
Target Bonus:
$15,000 - $25,000 Responsibilities Strategy and Planning Develop and carry out an annual marketing plan and budget aligned with firm growth goals for each office. Set targets for registrations, attendance, appointments booked, appointments kept and new clients, and report results to leadership. Find new acquisition channels and test them in a disciplined way, including paid digital, referral and centers-of-influence programs, and community partnerships. Live Educational Workshops Manage the full workshop calendar across offices: topics, venues, direct mail and digital promotion, registration, confirmations and reminders. Coordinate event logistics and on-site materials. Work with advisors to keep presentations fresh and engaging. Track cost per registrant, cost per attendee, and appointment conversion by event, venue and topic. Educational Webinars Plan and produce a recurring webinar series on retirement income, tax, estate and risk topics. Manage the webinar platform, promotion, attendee follow-up and replay distribution. Email Marketing Build and manage nurture campaigns for prospects, event registrants, no-shows and existing clients. Keep the database clean and segmented, and manage list growth. Improve open rates, click rates and conversion through testing. Social Media and Digital Presence Manage the firm's social media channels, content calendar and engagement. Oversee website content, landing pages, lead-capture forms and downloadable guides. Coordinate promotion of the "Retire Ready with Alto Financial Group" radio program and other media appearances. Compliance and Brand Send all advertising, event materials, social content and communications through the required compliance review before use. Keep approval records and required disclosures, and follow rules on electronic communications and social media archiving. Follow the SEC Marketing Rule, insurance advertising regulations, CAN-SPAM, and TCPA requirements for text messaging. Protect and strengthen the Alto brand so it stays consistent in every office and channel. Leadership and Collaboration Manage marketing staff, including the Marketing Creative Specialist and Event Coordinator, as well as agencies, vendors and freelancers (mail houses, designers, videographers, venues). Work with advisors and client service teams so leads are followed up quickly and handed off well. Oversee CRM and marketing automation workflows that support lead tracking and attribution. Required Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5-7+ years of marketing experience, including experience leading programs, people or vendors. Proven results with event-based or seminar marketing and multi-channel lead generation. Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms, social media management tools, webinar platforms and CRM systems. A strong analytical approach, including building dashboards, tracking ROI and making budget decisions based on data. Excellent writing, project management and organizational skills. Ability to work on-site full-time at our Monroeville office, with some travel to our State College office and occasional evening events. Preferred Experience Prior marketing experience with a wealth management, RIA, financial planning or insurance firm. Familiarity with the compliance review process for financial services marketing. Experience with CRMs common in the advisory industry, such as Redtail, Wealthbox or Salesforce.
