Delegation Full Job Description The Role:
A Real Growth, Leadership and Career Opportunity The Campaign Manager is the operational center of the campaign to elect Evan Jones (www.voteevanjones.com) to the state house. You will manage the candidate's schedule, own the budget, coordinate consultants and vendors, drive voter contact (until onboarding a Field Director), and ensure every moving part is hitting its mark on time. This is a player-coach role- you will build the plan and work it alongside the candidate and a lean team.
- prioritizing voter contact, fundraising, and earned media across four counties Maintain the campaign calendar and ensure all critical deadlines are met Manage day-to-day campaign communications and keep the candidate and team aligned Fundraising Maintain and grow the donor pipeline in coordination with the candidate and Base Builder Track fundraising progress against the finance plan and flag issues early Manage Anedot and NGP/VAN donor records Coordinate fundraising events, including follow-up and donor stewardship Voter Contact & Field Oversee voter contact program across a geographically dispersed four-county district•phone, text, tele-town hall, and door are all in play Manage Mobilize.
- vendor relationship is active, first events are in motion Communications & Events Oversee social media execution in coordination with Allison Jones (day-to-day posting) and Base Builder (content calendar and strategy) Manage earned media opportunities
- press releases, reporter relationships, and rapid response Coordinate all campaign events Support production of creative content in coordination with Base Builder and design consultants What We're Looking For Experience preferences: 2+ cycles of campaign experience, with at least one as a Campaign Manager or senior campaign staff Experience managing candidates directly
- coaching principals, managing schedules, and running call time Demonstrated ability to manage a campaign budget and donor pipeline Experience with rural, red-leaning, or crossover districts strongly preferred
- candidates with only D+ urban campaign experience should be aware this race requires a different approach Washington state campaign experience a plus; Pacific Northwest familiarity helpful Skills & Tools, also preferable: Strong project management
- multiple priorities, hard deadlines, lean team Excellent written and verbal communication Proficient in VoteBuilder, Mobilize.us, NGP/Anedot, and Google Suite Comfortable with Canva or similar for basic design support Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- district travel is required Who You Are You exercise strong independent judgment and don't need to be managed You stay calm and make good decisions under pressure You are direct, organized, and follow through without being chased You understand that message discipline and consistency win races
- especially in persuasion-heavy environments You are comfortable working with a candidate whose crossover appeal is a strategic asset, not a liability You are energized by a race that isn't supposed to be winnable and want to help prove it is Logistics Location The 20th Legislative District must be drivable from your base of residence.

Term Start date:
June 1, 2026 or earlier for the right candidate.End date:
