We're looking for a driven and strategic individual to represent and advocate for the interests of Sunflower and our Member cooperatives before state and federal legislative bodies.
Opportunities:
Attend and participate in legislative activities while developing relationships with policymakers, industry partners, and stakeholders. Represent Sunflower and our Member cooperatives in industry organizations, coalitions, and working groups. Design and lead initiatives to support beneficial legislation and advance strategic interests through targeted advocacy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, law, business administration, communications or related field and seven years' experience in state and/or federal lobbying, government relations, legislative affairs, public policy, or regulatory advocacy; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
