Your camera roll is already a portfolio. Let's get you paid for it. If your For You Page is basically a mood board, you can't scroll past a badly lit video without cringing, and you've caught yourself rewriting someone else's caption in your head... we should talk. We're looking for someone with the eye . Someone who knows the difference between content that gets scrolled past and content that stops the thumb. Someone who can shoot it, edit it, post it, and tell us exactly why it worked. About Us Who Shot That Media? is a full-service video production and digital marketing agency based in New Orleans. We serve clients in person across Louisiana, with occasional work in Houston and Beaumont, TX, and Hattiesburg, MS. We tell stories for roofers, pool builders, contractors, faith-based organizations, and local businesses across the Gulf South. We're FAA Part 107 certified and have been featured in The Wall Street Journal. We move fast, we shoot a lot, and we care about results. The Role You'll work directly alongside our Creative Director on strategy, shooting, editing, and posting. This isn't a "make coffee and watch" position. You'll be trusted with real client accounts, real deadlines, and real creative input from day one. A Day Might Look Like Morning shoot on a job site with the Sony, dialing in exposure and chasing good light Afternoon cranking out graphics in Canva and cutting reels in CapCut or Premiere Pulling analytics to see what hit and what flopped, then pitching what we try next Writing captions that actually sound like a human Golden hour shoot to close it out What You'll Do Assist the Creative Director with content strategy and monthly content plans for client accounts Operate Sony cameras on shoots, handling lighting, exposure, and framing Edit high volumes of content quickly, which can mean up to 30 graphics and 5 to 8 videos in a day Check work of other team members Assist the creative director in operations Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Google Business Profiles Pull and interpret analytics, spot trends, and recommend what to do next Write short, sharp captions that fit each client's voice Pitch your own ideas for content, campaigns, and creative direction Communicate with clients on set and represent the agency professionally Travel to client job sites and shoot locations, mostly across Louisiana, with occasional trips to Houston, Beaumont, and Hattiesburg Stay on top of platform changes and algorithm shifts across Meta, TikTok, and Google You're Our Person If You Have The eye. You know a good shot when you see one, and you can tell when something is off. Sony camera skills. Comfortable with menus, settings, picture profiles, codecs, and lenses without needing a walkthrough. Lighting and exposure knowledge. ISO, shutter, aperture, white balance, and lighting a scene on location all make sense to you. Fast editing chops. Skilled in Canva and CapCut, plus at least one of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro. Quick turnaround without cutting corners. An analytics brain. You can read Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, and Google Business insights and turn numbers into decisions. Platform know-how. You understand how TikTok, Meta, and Google work behind the scenes: reach, engagement, ads, and local search. Marketing sense. You get audience, funnels, offers, and what makes someone stop scrolling and take action. AI fluency. You use AI tools daily and know how to prompt them well: clear direction, good context, and refining until the output is right. Clean writing. Strong spelling and grammar. Nothing goes out with a typo. Ideas, and the confidence to share them. You don't wait to be told what to make. Client charm. You're comfortable talking with business owners on set, explaining your ideas, and representing the agency with a smile. A memory like a steel trap. You remember client details, brand guidelines, and past feedback so clients don't have to repeat themselves. Calm in the chaos. Shoot days move fast and plans change. You adapt and keep the work sharp. Ownership. You're ready for real responsibility and you follow through.
