Job Description

This position provides support to NRCA's communications department by managing NRCA's English-language social media platforms and participating in planning and implementing social media strategies. The position will use social media to raise awareness regarding NRCA and the roofing industry while engaging with NRCA members and the roofing community.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Manage, create, gather and post content for NRCA's social media platforms Plan, create and gather content for NRCA's National Roofing Week social media campaign Use social media analytics to measure the success of each platform and adapt strategies accordingly Work with NRCA's creative team to create and produce graphics and videos for social media Help increase NRCA's social media presence and engagement Monitor and follow related industry accounts, as well as accounts whose content may be relevant to NRCA's audiences. Collaborate with marketing regarding paid social media ads and strategies Explore relationships with potential influencers who can help increase awareness of NRCA Work on additional projects as assigned Skills Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills Knowledge of Associated Press style Strong knowledge of English grammar Ability to multitask Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to synthesize and analyze data Flexible demeanor, positive attitude and enthusiasm for social media Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize and effectively execute daily workload independently In-depth knowledge of social media platforms
Education, Certifications, Equivalent Experience :
Bachelor's degree in social media or communications One to three years' experience in social media
Travel and Overtime Requirements :
The position may require weekend and/or evening work and occasional travel.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
