Role:
•UKG is seeking a Senior Manager of Social to build and scale a modern social media capability that expands the reach, relevance, and influence of UKG's reputation and thought leadership. Reporting to the Director of Thought Leadership & Newsroom within External Communications, this leader will help shape how UKG's ideas travel and how the company participates in the conversations that matter. The role will build new capabilities in B2B influencer and creator engagement, paid activation, platform-native storytelling, and social intelligence while helping shape UKG's broader corporate social strategy. This is a hands-on manager role for a modern social strategist who understands how influence is built across platforms, creators, and communities. The Senior Manager will combine strategic vision with creative and digital fluency to build new capabilities, develop talent, and establish a more innovative and influential social presence for UKG. •About the
Role:
•Build UKG's Social & Influence Strategy•+ Develop and execute a social strategy that strengthens UKG's reputation, thought leadership, and presence in the conversations that matter to our audiences. + Help evolve UKG's corporate social presence from primarily publishing and amplification toward an always-on platform for ideas, conversation, community, and influence. + Translate UKG's thought leadership and editorial priorities into social strategies that help ideas travel—identifying the communities, platforms, voices, and formats that can extend their reach and influence. + Partner across Communications and Marketing to create a connected social ecosystem that advances reputation and business priorities while ensuring complementary strategies, investment, and activation. •Build a B2B Influencer & Creator Program•+ Build UKG's influencer and creator strategy from the ground up, identifying the voices shaping conversations across work, AI, enterprise technology, business leadership, and priority industries. + Develop authentic, sustained relationships with creators, influencers, industry voices, and emerging experts who can extend UKG's credibility and reach with relevant audiences. + Create organic and paid partnerships that move beyond transactional promotion toward distinctive content and conversations that provide value to creators, their communities, and UKG. + Build the frameworks, governance, agency relationships, and measurement needed to scale influencer and creator engagement responsibly. •Lead Paid Social Activation•+ Develop a paid amplification strategy for priority Communications content, thought leadership, influencer partnerships, and reputation moments. + Determine when paid investment can meaningfully extend strong organic ideas, reach priority audiences, or increase the impact of creator-led content. + Partner closely with Marketing and paid media teams to coordinate investment, audiences, platforms, and activation while maintaining clear roles and objectives. + Test and optimize paid approaches based on audience quality, engagement, influence, and measurable impact—not simply reach. •Create & Experiment at Social Speed•+ Bring a digital-native, platform-first mindset to UKG storytelling, shaping content and creative approaches designed for how audiences actually consume and share information. + Stay ahead of emerging platforms, creators, cultural conversations, formats, and behaviors, identifying opportunities for UKG to participate early and credibly. + Work hands-on with the team and partners to move quickly from idea to activation, adapting content and approaches based on the platform and audience. + Build a test-and-learn culture that encourages thoughtful experimentation, captures what works, and scales successful approaches. •Turn Social Intelligence Into Impact•+ Use social listening, creator and community intelligence, audience behavior, and performance data to identify emerging conversations and opportunities for UKG. + Bring social, creator, community, and audience intelligence into the Thought Leadership & Newsroom editorial agenda, helping identify emerging conversations, influential voices, and opportunities for UKG to lead or participate. + Establish a measurement framework that connects social activity to meaningful outcomes including reputation, thought-leadership reach, audience growth, share of conversation, influence, and discoverability. + Translate performance into actionable insights, continuously refining platform, content, creator, paid, and audience strategies. •Build & Scale a Modern Social Capability•+ Manage and develop social talent while remaining deeply engaged in strategy, creative development, and activation. + Set a high bar for digital fluency, creativity, experimentation, judgment, and execution. + Work as an integrated part of Thought Leadership & Newsroom while building strong partnerships across External Communications, Marketing, Brand, Legal, and other teams to bring the strongest ideas to market. + Lead agency and external creator relationships as extensions of the capability, ensuring strong strategy, creative quality, and measurable value. •
Basic Qualifications:
•+ 7+ years of experience in social media, influencer/creator strategy, digital communications, digital publishing, integrated marketing, or a related discipline. + Demonstrated success building and scaling modern social or influencer programs, including developing strategy, partnerships, content, and activation. + Deep fluency across the creator ecosystem and major social platforms, with a strong understanding of how audiences, formats, algorithms, and communities differ by platform. + Significant experience developing influencer and creator partnerships, from identifying and building relationships with talent through activation and measurement. + Hands-on experience with paid social and content amplification, including audience strategy, testing, optimization, and measurement. + Strong creative and editorial judgment with the ability to recognize ideas and content that will resonate with audiences rather than simply fill a publishing calendar. + Strong analytical skills and experience building measurement approaches that go beyond follower growth and engagement rates. + Demonstrated people leadership or player-coach experience, with the ability to develop talent while remaining close to strategy and execution. + Ability to work quickly and collaboratively across a complex organization and navigate overlapping ownership with clarity and low ego. •
Preferred Qualifications:
•+ Experience in enterprise B2B SaaS, technology, business media, a modern consumer brand, agency, publisher, or creator-led organization. + Existing relationships within relevant B2B, technology, workplace, business, or creator communities. + Experience building new social or influencer capabilities within an established organization. + Experience using AI and emerging creative technologies to accelerate social intelligence, content development, experimentation, and optimization. •

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
