PRIMARY FUNCTION/RESPONSIBILITY
A personable and flexible office manager who can assist with parent outreach while also maintaining a welcoming office environment for parents and staff members. Has the
OFFICE ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Make phone calls utilizing a CRM to potential prospective parents, and help answer any questions they may have regarding care. Sit at the front desk and help answer the phone/front door for parents, communicating in a professional helpful manner at all times. Ability to potentially handle staff scheduling and call outs if the Assistant Director is unable to. Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere toward all parents and staff. Help maintain the lobby and staff resource room clean and organized. Be able to communicate effectively and kindly to parents, utilizing professional grammar and language with them at all times.
CLASSROOM ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
When in the classroom, is able to actively supervise their classroom and be familiar with licensing policies and procedures such as, but not limited to: child to teacher ratios, handwashing, food handling, diaper changing, and cleaning. Comfortably be alone with the children per ratio. Ability to maintain a kind and patient persona in a loud classroom environment. Maintain an amicable work relationship with co-teachers. Ability to physically complete all janitorial tasks for the classroom such as, but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing toys, and taking out trash.
QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous daycare and office management experience is strongly preferred. A college degree or credit in early childhood development is preferred.
Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
