Our Community Relations Representative team creates exciting campaigns for nonprofit organizations, helping each client share its mission, strengthen community awareness, and inspire support through genuine conversations. The Community Relations Representative helps turn that mission into something people can understand and connect with. Working in person at community events and promotional pop-ups throughout the Dallas area, you'll represent each nonprofit client, speak with attendees about current initiatives, answer questions, and help interested individuals learn how their support can make a difference. Responsibilities of the Community Relations Representative Learn each nonprofit client mission, current initiatives, and campaign goals before representing the organization in the community. Create welcoming conversations that help event attendees understand the cause and why the client's work matters. Share campaign information and real-world impact in a way that feels personal, conversational, and easy to understand. Listen to questions and interests before connecting community members with relevant client initiatives and ways to contribute. Support fundraising efforts by explaining donation opportunities and helping interested individuals complete contributions. Work alongside other Community Relations Representative team members to share community feedback and strengthen future client outreach. Qualifications of the Community Relations Representative Approachable, empathetic, and comfortable connecting with new people. Strong communicator who can speak genuinely about a client's mission and impact. Interested in nonprofits, community outreach, events, communications, marketing, or fundraising. Positive, dependable, and comfortable staying engaged in active event environments. Restaurant, hospitality, barista, retail, customer service, events, or other people-focused experience can transfer especially well to this opportunity.
