Job Description
Understanding a business means seeing how the pieces connect - from individual performance and client goals to team execution and leadership decisions. Valor Agency partners with 501(c)(3) nonprofits to build awareness and raise funds through full-time, in-person marketing campaigns at community events and promotional locations throughout the greater Dallas area. The Business Management Associate learns the operation from the ground up. You'll begin by gaining firsthand experience representing nonprofit clients at events, then use that foundation to understand campaign goals, performance, team development, and the leadership strategies that keep each campaign moving forward. Responsibilities of the Business Management Associate Learn how Valor Agency plans and executes nonprofit campaigns, including client objectives, fundraising goals, and daily performance expectations. Gain firsthand event experience before taking on additional leadership responsibilities, building credibility through your own performance. Track personal results and learn how individual activity contributes to broader campaign and business goals. Observe how leadership evaluates event performance, identifies challenges, and adjusts the team's approach when needed. Participate in team discussions around campaign priorities, fundraising results, and leadership development. Earn opportunities to support team organization and day-to-day execution as you progress as a Business Management Associate. Qualifications for the Business Management Associate High school diploma or equivalent preferred; College degree in Business Administration, Communications, Finance, or a related field is a plus! (but not required) Interested in learning how a growing business operates beyond the responsibilities of one individual position. Motivated by measurable goals and curious about how leadership uses performance information to make better decisions. Able to notice problems, think through possible solutions, and communicate ideas clearly with leadership and teammates. Interested in developing leadership through experience, accountability, and good judgment rather than simply pursuing a management title. Ready to learn, accept feedback, and earn greater responsibility while developing as a Business Management Associate. The Business Management Associate position offers hands-on exposure to nonprofit campaign execution, business operations, and leadership development within Valor Agency. If you're ready to understand how strong performance grows into greater responsibility, apply today to develop as a Business Management Associate with our Dallas team.
