Global Enterprise Communications Team:
- The full-spectrum Capital One Global Enterprise Communications team is responsible for all aspects of the company's communications strategy and execution in order to propel business imperatives while promoting and protecting the reputation of Capital One.
- About the
Role:
- As a Manager on the Innovation & Tech Communications team, you will lead internal and executive communications for Enterprise Product organizations and their leaders. In this role, you will serve as a strategic communications advisor to senior leaders, building data-informed communication strategies that align with business goals, drive associate engagement, and foster organizational clarity.
- This position requires exceptional judgment, an ability to build relationships in a highly matrixed environment, and a sustained focus on delivering results. Creative problem-solving, an ability to read the data and the room, and a passion for storytelling are all critical to success in this role. Empathy, teamwork and a sense of humor are essential.
Primary Responsibilities:
- + •Design and execute internal communications strategies that directly support business goals, leveraging associate feedback and internal metrics to measure impact.
- + •Partner with senior leaders to craft executive communications, translating business objectives and organizational updates into compelling narratives that drive alignment.
- + •Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure consistent messaging, manage communication cadences, and support key business initiatives.
- + •Contribute to team-wide efforts to develop scalable processes, ensure operational excellence, and stay informed about industry trends to inform and enhance strategies.
Basic Qualifications:
- + •Bachelor's degree or military experience•+ •At least 5 years of communications experience•
Preferred Qualifications:
- + •Experience supporting enterprise software, digital products, or tech-adjacent business units in a large enterprise environment.
- + •Proven track record of using internal data, associate sentiment, and metrics to shape business-aligned communication strategies.
- + •Experience advising senior leaders and managing communications through strategic business shifts or enterprise initiatives.

$122,100- $139,400 for
Communications Manager McLean, VA:
$134,400- $153,300 for
Communications Manager Richmond, VA:
$122,100- $139,400 for Communications Manager Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
