Full-Time Compensation:
$60,000-$65,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position Summary The Director of Membership & Community Engagement/Special Events is responsible for growing and strengthening Centro San Antonio's membership program while leading community engagement initiatives that connect members, sponsors, downtown stakeholders, and the broader community to Centro's mission. This position oversees membership sales, retention, member engagement, sponsorship fulfillment, and project management support for Centro's signature events and programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Membership Growth & Revenue Recruit new members and grow membership revenue Develop prospective members and manage the membership sales pipeline Manage membership renewals and retention strategies Maintain strong relationships with existing members Manage and coordinate membership benefits Track sales activity, membership revenue, and member engagement using Member365 and other CRM tools Prepare and maintain membership pipeline and activity reporting Manage activities within approved budgets Community Engagement Plan and coordinate membership mixers, networking events, educational programs, and special activations Build and maintain relationships with members, businesses, and key community stakeholders Support committee coordination and engagement Represent Centro San Antonio at community, business, and networking events Sponsorship Fulfillment & Partner Relations Build and maintain relationships with sponsors and partners Track sponsorship commitments and fulfillment Coordinate delivery of sponsorship benefits and assets Manage ongoing partner communications Support sponsor activations and engagement opportunities Event & Program Management Support the planning, coordination, and execution of key events and community activations, including: Stars & Stripes Guayabera Fest Centro Classic Holidays on Houston Best Awards Other community events and activations as identified Coordinate event logistics and partner participation as needed Manage event and program activities within approved budgets Qualifications 3+ years of experience in sales, membership, business development, or a related field Strong relationship-building skills and comfortable prospecting, recruiting members, and asking for the sale Experience planning, coordinating, and managing events Strong organizational skills with the ability to track sales activity, prospects, renewals, and member engagement using CRM or membership management software Knowledge of the San Antonio business community or an interest in actively developing those connections Ability to manage responsibilities and programs within approved budgets Availability to work and attend events outside of regular business hours, including occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends

$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
