As a Community Outreach Representative , you'll meet directly with customers, share the nonprofit's mission, and help connect people with meaningful opportunities to support programs that create lasting community impact. This Community Outreach Representative opportunity is ideal for motivated individuals looking to develop professional communication, fundraising, and leadership skills while making a difference. Every Community Outreach Representative plays an important role in building relationships with customers, inspiring community involvement, and strengthening the nonprofit's presence throughout Houston. With hands-on mentorship and ongoing leadership development, this role provides an exciting foundation for recent graduates and entry-level professionals ready to launch their careers. Responsibilities of the Community Outreach Representative Represent the nonprofit at local outreach events by engaging customers in meaningful conversations about its mission and community impact. Build lasting relationships with customers by educating them on programs, initiatives, and opportunities to get involved. Inspire donations by helping customers understand how their support directly benefits local communities. Support event planning, setup, and execution while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for customers. Learn how effective leadership drives successful outreach campaigns and strengthens community engagement. Assist with tracking outreach results, fundraising progress, and event performance to support future growth. Help identify new opportunities to expand community awareness and strengthen the nonprofit's local presence. Develop professional leadership skills through mentorship, coaching, and hands-on experience in community engagement. Qualifications of the Community Outreach Representative High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in hospitality, retail, customer service, volunteer work, or community engagement is helpful but not required. Passion for serving the community and creating positive experiences for customers. Demonstrated leadership experience through school organizations, athletics, clubs, volunteer activities, or previous employment is a plus.
