  • Ogden, UT Hours per week 40 Months per year 12 Alternate work schedule Pay Grade E32 Salary FLSA Exempt Job Summary/Basic Function Weber State University's College of Social Sciences & Education (CSSE) seeks applicants for the position of Marketing and Communications Manager.
This is a full time position in which the individual will be responsible for the internal and external marketing programs, advertising, event and activity promotion, social media presence and other public relations activities. The Marketing and Communications Manager may occasionally supervise student interns.
Required Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communication, or related field Two years of related experience Skill/experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and social media platforms
Preferred Qualifications Preferred:
Seeking candidates with strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience in design and technology Excellent record of work in marketing and publicity Strong project management experience and organizational skills Ability to take initiative, work without supervision and begin projects independently Fluency and ability to produce content for marketing campaigns across multiple web-based and traditional platforms plus the ability to lead social media programs Excellent writing skills for different media Strong strategic planning, proven implementation and execution experience Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud software, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop Experience designing and ordering promotional materials like t-shirts, stickers, and invitations A portfolio of graphic design examples showcasing creative ideas and solutions A successful candidate will be willing to Background Check?
