Job Description This position serves as the programmatic and operational lead for community development and engagement programs; educational outreach; and strategic partnerships. The role strengthens community capacity building; manages college access programs in partnership with Virginia Tech's College Access Collaborative; manages experiential education programs; assists with art exhibits and workshops; and supervises two engagement team staff members. Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in education, or a related field
• Experience developing and implementing programs
• Excellent communication skills and strong public speaking skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office programs, good organizational skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working or volunteering with non-profits
• Experience building strategic partnerships and managing community development activities, developing marketing materials, and facilitating experiential educational and leadership development programs
• Supervisory experience Pay Band 4
