Senior Government Affairs Manager
Job Description
Collaborate with other teams to ensure a communications strategy is in place. Respond to issues by engaging relevant parties, prioritizing issues, sharing political intelligence, and escalating matters or contacting a subject matter experts, as appropriate. Gather and integrate data and intelligence to support the preparation of advocacy materials, internal and external briefings, and other documentation. Lead, coordinate, and gain buy-in for intra- and cross-group projects, working with others to resolve conflicts and ensuring team alignment. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand and align objectives, priorities, and resources. Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, Technology, Law, Liberal Arts, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years work experience in government affairs, corporate affairs, public policy, government, or related area OR equivalent experience. 3+ years experience in developing and managing strategic relationships to advocate and influence public, regulatory, and technology policy priorities. 3+ years experience influencing, developing, or supporting public policy or political campaigns.
