Job Description

Position Summary The Jews of Color Initiative seeks a part-time, highly organized, detail-oriented communications professional to support the implementation of the organization's communications strategy and day-to-day communications activities. The Communications Associate will provide tactical communications, project support and coordination to help implement JoCI's communications strategy under the direction of the Director of Communications. This role will focus on content production, digital communications, social media management, website updates, and communications project coordination, enabling the Director of Communications to focus on organizational strategy, storytelling, and major communications initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and editor with an eye for design, an understanding of audience engagement, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. They should be comfortable balancing creative communications work with administrative and operational support tasks. This opportunity is a part-time role with an estimated 10-15 hours per week.
