Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate electronic circuits, assemblies, and power solutions through design, simulation, prototyping, and test activities.
- Partner with engineering teams to refine subsystem and system designs, incorporating updates that support development goals and product performance.
- Produce schematics and contribute technical guidance for board layout, routing, and integration of subassemblies.
- Perform engineering analysis using simulation tools and calculations to validate designs and address technical challenges.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation to support engineering, manufacturing, and ongoing product lifecycle needs.
- Lead or assist with laboratory testing, troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and risk assessments to improve product quality and reliability.
- Resolve product and process issues by recommending design improvements, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and assessing impact to schedules and budgets.
- Maintain accurate engineering records, including bills of materials and component obsolescence tracking for development and production items.
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers by presenting technical information, supporting proposals, and contributing to project execution.
- Provide guidance, training, and day-to-day technical support to engineers, technicians, and manufacturing personnel as needed.
