Position Overview A well-established organization with more than 26 years of experience is seeking an experienced Public Relations & Business Development Specialist. Our organization is recognized for its commitment to education, innovation, research, and exceptional professional service. The ideal candidate is a polished, highly motivated public relations and sales professional who is comfortable working with exclusive clients, developing professional relationships, representing an organization in the field, and promoting specialized services to a business-to-business audience. Please do not apply if you are a recent graduate as this position needs at least 2 years of related experience. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with our exclusive professional clients. Represent the company professionally at meetings, networking functions, conferences, community events and fundraisers. Build and manage a consistent B2B outreach and relationship-development strategy. Schedule, coordinate, and conduct professional lunches, dinners, happy hours, seminars, and other client-development events. Maintain regular communication and follow-up with existing and prospective new clients Maintain and track accurate outreach activity, appointments, contact records, reports, calendars, and follow-up documentation. Collaborate with leadership and internal team members to ensure messaging and outreach efforts remain consistent and professional. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, business, sales, or a related field. Must have at least 2 years in the field professional experience in public relations, sales, business development, or client relations. Demonstrated experience working with high-profile, exclusive, executive-level, or professional clients. Strong B2B sales and relationship-development experience. Experience promoting professional services, educational programs. Experience coordinating, hosting, setting up events, professional dinners, lunches, happy hours, networking events, seminars and fundraisers. Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, email, calendar systems, customer relationship management platforms, and general computer applications. Ability to manage a large geographic territory throughout the metroplex and drive daily Reliable transportation Ability to work independently while remaining accountable for activity, follow-up, and results. Strong attention to detail in communication, scheduling, reporting, and follow-up. Preferred Candidate Profile The preferred candidate is currently working in public relations, sales, business development, professional outreach in the medical, or legal industry, or a similar field-based role and is seeking a stronger long-term opportunity and organizational fit.
