Overview Full-Time | $80,000-$95,000 | Onsite/Enterprise Environment We're looking for an experienced Telecommunication Specialist to join a high-performing Telecom team supporting a large, complex healthcare and enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on telecom expert who can confidently navigate cloud and on-premise voice technologies , troubleshoot sophisticated call flows, collaborate across IT teams, and serve as a trusted escalation point for challenging issues. You'll play a critical role in maintaining voice services across multiple campuses, healthcare facilities, and community-based locations , supporting thousands of Unified Communications users and hundreds of call center agents. Your Impact As a Telecommunication Specialist, you'll help ensure that employees, clinicians, patients, customers, and support teams can communicate reliably when it matters most.
You will:
Engineer, administer, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise telecommunications systems Administer and support RingCentral's cloud-based voice platform for 3,000+ Unified Communications users and 500+ call center agents Manage voice services including VoIP, TDM, analog, voicemail, conferencing, call recording, softphones, hardphones, and related peripherals Manage day-to-day moves, adds, and changes (MACs) across the telecommunications environment Monitor and resolve ServiceNow tickets, prioritizing critical incidents and time-sensitive requests Design and support call routing, dial plans, hunt groups, voicemail, auto attendants, and complex call flows Develop and maintain NICE CXone Studio scripting and call flows Support RingCentral integrations with Microsoft Teams/WebRTC, Yealink and Poly hardphones, and other voice applications Troubleshoot complex voice, video, and collaboration issues across enterprise environments Support SIP trunks, PRI, POTS, LAN/WAN, FXO/FXS, and analog gateway technologies Maintain and optimize Cisco voice gateways, including ISR/ASR platforms and SRST capabilities Support Cisco Call Manager, Unity Connection, Emergency Responder, and VG-series analog gateways Support voice-related systems including call recording, paging, IVR, and other telecommunications peripherals Perform system backups, monitoring, maintenance, patching, version control, and hardware/software refreshes Use troubleshooting and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and TraceSBC Participate in telecom infrastructure projects, system upgrades, migrations, and new-site deployments Collaborate with Network, Information Security, Service Desk, Data Center, PMO, IT leadership, and Call Center teams Partner with vendors on complex installations, upgrades, integrations, and maintenance Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, dial plans, call flows, IP schemas, and QoS configurations Provide technical training and guidance to end users and internal IT/Telecom team members Serve as a key escalation resource and provide mentorship to junior Telecom team members Communicate project status, risks, priorities, and operational issues to management Technology Environment Primary Expertise - RingCentral RingCentral cloud-based voice platform 3,000+ UC users and 500+ call center agents NICE CXone / Studio scripting RingClone Microsoft Teams/WebRTC integrations Yealink and Poly hardphones Persistent/PRI and analog gateways Peripheral voice applications and plug-ins Secondary Expertise - Cisco Cisco Call Manager v15 Unity Connection Auto Attendant Emergency Responder

Media Gateways G650 Cabinets/Cards What You'll Bring RingCentral experience is required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline plus 5+ years of telecommunications/IT network systems experience , or an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong enterprise telecommunications and voice infrastructure experience Experience supporting cloud and on-premise voice environments Working knowledge of SIP, PRI, POTS, LAN/WAN, FXO/FXS, QoS, and voice resiliency Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong customer-service mindset and ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical users Excellent organization, documentation, and time-management skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across IT teams Preferred Certifications CCNA and/or
