Marketing and Communication Specialist - National Capital Region Marketing and Communication Specialist?? Northern, VA area?? Full-Time | On-site | Position Contingent Upon AwardJoin Synertex LLC and bring your expertise to a mission that matters. We're looking for a Marketing, Communication & Coordination Specialist facilitates collaboration across the Intelligence Community and contractor components, translates complex technical concepts into clear business language, and develops and executes communication strategies that convey CIO program goals and outcomes to diverse stakeholders. This role supports executive-level communications, congressional and White House liaison packages, and feedback mechanisms that align technical deliverables with mission objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Facilitate the translation of complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business language for stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technical deliverables and business objectives
  • Develop and execute communication strategies that effectively convey CIO program goals, technical progress, and outcomes to diverse audiences including senior executives, technical teams, and external partners
  • Create and disseminate technical and business-oriented content including white papers, executive summaries, presentations, and reports tailored to different stakeholder groups
  • Develop communication packages for Sponsor leadership, the White House, and Congress; support the development of executive-level memorandums, talking points, and informational briefings
  • Support the onboarding and off-boarding process for new and departing Sponsor and contractor personnel
  • Establish and manage feedback mechanisms to capture business requirements and ensure they are accurately translated into technical specifications
  • Identify, implement, and manage appropriate communication tools and channels to ensure timely and effective information exchange between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities that can influence both technical and business strategies, ensuring the program remains competitive and aligned with industry best practices
  • Facilitate coordination activities across multiple ODNI and contractor components to ensure successful completion of cross-organizational tasksEducation and Experience Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph is required prior to start date
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must comply with all ODNI on/off-boarding requirements including mandatory annual training (completed by November 1 each year)
  • Must ad to all applicable ICDs, NISPOM, ODNI Security Instructions, and Sponsor-specific security policies
  • Use of Generative AI tools in performance of contract work requires written COTR approval prior to use
  • All experience must be within the last 10 years.
Degrees must be from an accredited institution in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, IT Management, Business, or equivalent):
Entry Level:
    HS/GED + 6

    • Bachelor's + 2 years experience
    • Master's degree (experience may be substituted as appropriate)
    Journeyman Level:
      HS/GED + 8
