Job Description

The Crisis Services Coordinator serves as the central communication and administrative hub for Southeastern Integrated Care's BHUC and Mobile Crisis Services. The Coordinator manages incoming crisis calls, coordinates the deployment of Mobile Crisis staff, supports Behavioral Health Urgent Care operations, facilitates communication among team members and community partners, maintains operational documentation, and provides administrative support to ensure efficient delivery of crisis services. The position requires exceptional organizational skills, sound judgment, professionalism under pressure, and the ability to effectively prioritize multiple competing demands in a fast-paced behavioral health environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Crisis Communications Answer all incoming Crisis Services telephone lines. Obtain critical information from callers. Determine the appropriate routing of crisis calls using established protocols. Notify and dispatch Mobile Crisis teams. Coordinate communication between BHUC staff and Mobile Crisis teams. Maintain awareness of team availability and geographic assignments. Communicate updates to responding staff. Escalate urgent situations to licensed clinical staff. Maintain continuous communication with responders until calls are completed. Mobile Crisis Dispatch Monitor Mobile Crisis staff assignments throughout the shift. Coordinate deployment based on urgency, geography, staffing availability, and response times. Track field staff locations and availability. Assist with coordination of transfers between BHUC, hospitals, EMS, law enforcement, and community partners. Maintain dispatch records and response documentation. Support after-hours and on-call operations. BHUC Administrative Support Greet individuals and visitors arriving at the BHUC. Direct visitors appropriately. Assist with intake documentation. Register individuals in the electronic health record. Verify demographic information. Maintain daily census information. Coordinate incoming and outgoing records. Maintain office supplies. Assist leadership with reports and scheduling. Coordinate meetings. Maintain calendars.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required. Associate Degree preferred. Required Skills/Abilities Excellent multitasking and Critical thinking Problem solving and Organization Customer service EMR Microsoft Office Ability to remain calm and Excellent judgment Ability to prioritize rapidly changing situations
