Job Description

This isn't a typical sales job. You'll be the face of two mission-driven healthcare organizations in Johnston County — working one role, building one set of relationships, and opening doors for both at the same time. Superior Clinical Research (SCR) connects underserved community members with life-changing clinical trials. 1st Choice Homecare & Infusion delivers personalized home care, infusion services, IV wellness, and in-home health services to children and adults across Johnston County — in English and Spanish.
The natural crossover is powerful:
the same physician who refers patients to homecare may have patients eligible for clinical trials. You're not splitting your time — you're doubling your impact. What You'll Do Build and work a referral pipeline across physician offices, specialists, hospital discharge planners, home health agencies, faith communities, and community organizations Drive patient referrals to SCR for clinical trial enrollment and to 1st Choice for homecare and infusion services Represent both organizations at health fairs, lunch-and-learns, and community events Maintain CRM records, submit weekly activity reports, and participate in monthly joint strategy calls Identify crossover opportunities where one relationship benefits both organizations Who We're Looking For ✔ Background in healthcare sales, home health liaison work, community health outreach, or clinical research ✔ Existing relationships in the Johnston County medical or community ecosystem — strongly preferred ✔ Self-directed; thrives in a field-based role without daily supervision ✔ Polished communicator — equally at ease with physicians and community members ✔ Spanish proficiency a strong plus ✔ Genuine commitment to health equity and access for underserved communities ✔ Comfortable with CRM tools, digital communication, and basic reporting ✔ Active on social media or willing to support brand visibility online
