Strategic Communication & Multimedia Coordinator Minot State University is seeking candidates for the position of Strategic Communication & Multimedia Coordinator in the University Communications office. MSU is looking for a creative and passionate individual who loves telling the University's story through various platforms. Candidates should work well with others in a fast-paced, exciting work environment. This position reports to the Director of University Communications. This position will research, develop, and produce feature stories on MSU students, faculty, staff, alumni, and donors.
Full/Part Time:
Part-Time 15-19 hours per week, flexible schedule

Content Creation :
Draft and edit feature articles, press releases, newsletters, and student profiles for the University website and print magazine Connections. Candidates will work with digital photography and videography to create well-rounded projects. The Coordinator will manage all aspects of content creation, from idea to final project, including photography, video production, and editing.
Administrative Support :
Maintain media contact lists, update web pages using content management systems, and transcribe interviews. Maintain the University's calendar and promotional screens.
Team Building :
This position will work with current student writers, helping edit and tutor student writers along with assigning new stories and various tasks within feature story writing and video production. The Coordinator will work with the Director of University Communications to develop a student worker team.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Video Production, and/or Public Relations Preferred qualifications: Experience within the field of content creation General knowledge of graphic design and corresponding Adobe software Experience with social media platforms Experience both in front of and behind the camera
