Hours:
Flexible; Between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 15-20 hours per week depending on the applicant's schedule More hours available in Summer (up to 40 hours per week). Join an established internship providing real world experience working directly with independent insurance agency partners around the country. Duties in the Marketing Communications Department include: Communicate with prospective agents via telephone to identify their interest in an appointment with BHHC Craft marketing messages to inform and sell prospective agents on benefits of partnering with BHHC Use internal data to understand market, BHHC product offering, and potential areas of growth Acquire market intelligence via phone conversations with prospective agents, team meetings, interface with Field Marketing Representatives, and industry publications. Assist Agency Unit with application process and follow up with prospective agencies for completeness Perform other marketing duties as assigned. During this internship, the student will gain: Professional verbal and written communication skills Data analysis skills with experience in Excel, PowerBI, and CoPilot Confidence in collaborating with diverse people Knowledge of fundamental principles of insurance including commercial auto and property Knowledge of Marketing Department operations
