Job Description

Are you an exceptional writer with a passion for design, beautiful products, and compelling storytelling? Do you understand how words and visuals work together to create communications that make people stop, look, and act? Native Trails is looking for a Brand Communications Specialist to help shape how our brand and products are communicated across email, web, print, and other marketing channels. This is a hands-on role for a strong writer who can step into an established brand voice, translate product details into compelling stories, and adapt messaging for everyone from interior designers and architects to dealers and consumers. Native Trails is a certified B Corporation and a design-driven manufacturer of luxury kitchen and bath products. We believe great design, exceptional craftsmanship, and responsible business can—and should—go hand in hand. What You'll Do Write and edit product descriptions, website copy, collection stories, catalogs, look books, email campaigns, and other marketing materials. Develop messaging for product launches, campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives. Maintain the established Native Trails voice across channels. Translate technical product information and features into clear, engaging, benefit-driven storytelling. Create communications with a strong understanding of how copy, photography, typography, and design work together to tell a compelling story. Develop messaging tailored to trade and consumer audiences, including designers, architects, dealers, hospitality professionals, and homeowners. Develop and manage email campaigns using Mailchimp, including subject lines, content, calls to action, and audience segmentation. Write website content with an understanding of SEO/GEO principles and the customer journey. Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Sales, Product Development, and leadership to develop effective communications. Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms for research, ideation, editing, and content development—while applying strong editorial judgment to ensure quality, accuracy, originality, and brand alignment. Proofread and maintain accuracy and consistency across marketing materials. Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving, collaborative environment. What We're Looking For 3+ years of professional writing, copywriting, communications, or content marketing experience. Experience in kitchen & bath, interior design, architecture, custom building, luxury home furnishings, hospitality, or a related industry. Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong command of tone, grammar, and storytelling. Ability to confidently write within an established brand voice. Understanding of how visual and written communication work together to create an effective message. Experience communicating with both trade and consumer audiences. Working knowledge of Mailchimp (or similar), email marketing best practices, and SEO/GEO. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with email marketing and digital content. Comfort using AI as a creative and productivity tool. A genuine appreciation for design, luxury products, craftsmanship, and the home. The Ideal Candidate You're a word person with a visual eye. You know that luxury doesn't need to shout, that technical information can be made interesting, and that sometimes the right image and headline can say more than a paragraph. You're curious, collaborative, organized, and excited to make a meaningful contribution to a growing, design-focused brand.
