Job Description

A small association management firm is seeking a highly organized, creative, and dependable professional to support multiple nonprofit and professional associations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting things accomplished, takes pride in producing polished work, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities, taking ownership of assigned projects, and seeing them through from start to finish. Most work is completed remotely, with scheduled in-person meetings, events, and conferences in the Tampa Bay area. What You'll Do Create email newsletters, event announcements, and member communications Design professional event flyers, social media graphics, presentations, and promotional materials Create and schedule social media content Build and update event pages, registration information, and related communications Coordinate event details with speakers, sponsors, venues, vendors, and volunteers Prepare meeting and event materials Maintain projects and deadlines in Asana and follow through on outstanding items Communicate professionally with members, board leaders, speakers, sponsors, and vendors Assist with meeting, conference, and event setup, registration, attendee support, and follow-up Provide additional administrative and project support across multiple association clients What We're Looking For The strongest candidate is someone who can take direction, understand the goal, and independently move the work forward.
You should have:
Excellent organization and follow-through Ability to take ownership of assigned projects and see them through from start to finish Strong written communication and proofreading skills Strong visual judgment and practical graphic design ability Experience creating newsletters, email communications, or marketing materials Ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and deadlines Good judgment and strong attention to detail Confidence learning and working across multiple technology platforms Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the company owner Professional and responsive communication skills Reliable availability for scheduled in-person meetings and events in the Tampa Bay area, including occasional mornings and evenings Experience with Google Workspace, Asana, Wild Apricot, Constant Contact, Adobe Express, Canva, or nonprofit/association management is a plus. Schedule This is a part-time position averaging approximately 15-20 hours per week . Most work is completed remotely with flexible scheduling, but availability for scheduled meetings, conferences, and events is an important part of the role. Hours may fluctuate around larger client events and conferences.
Pay:
$27.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
