- This position follows a hybrid work schedule and can be based out of our
- Rockville, MD, Washington, DC, or Reston, VA
- office. Candidates must be located within the Washington Metropolitan Area and able to commute to one of these office locations as needed. As a
- Communications Associate
- , you will: + Contribute to the development of communications plans and strategies to meet client objectives and goals + Interact and collaborate with team members, and clients through written communications, meetings, and collaborative work platforms + Manage the development of creative materials, working in coordination with our Creative Studio's designers, editors, internal program team, and clients on a variety of products including newsletters, fact sheets, videos, case studies, social media content, emails, and websites + Coordinate project workflows, deliverable trackers, timelines, progress reports, and meeting materials.
- What This Role Requires
- + Bachelor's degree, required (e.g., communications, marketing, public relations, advertising, or related field) + 3+ years of professional marketing communications experience; transportation communications or marketing experience a plus.
- What We Want You To Have
- + Knowledge of traditional and social media environments; understanding of various communication channels and how they work (print, social, digital, paid media, events and outreach, direct response, etc.
