Job Description

The Presbytery of Charlotte is seeking an independent professional for a 12-month renewable contract as a Communications Specialist to manage its comprehensive digital and visual presence. Operating as a 1099 independent contractor for approximately 10 hours per week, the specialist will serve as webmaster, coordinate email outreach, cultivate multi-platform social media campaigns, and design and deliver diverse creative assets. This remote-friendly role requires a skilled creator who can handle photography and video editing for local church events, maintain strict confidentiality regarding ecclesiastical matters, and quickly deliver polished public content that aligns with the Presbytery's mission. The contract is valued at $15,000 annually ($1,250 monthly) with special project work billed additionally at a reference rate of $28.85 per hour.
