Core Community Liaison

We are looking for a motivated Community Liaison to tell the story of Core Community and Youth Core Ministries, raising awareness and securing funding within a particular community. Duties of the community liaison include creating strong visibility by regularly sharing "Our Story" with the community, raising the annual budget for the local site, and ensuring we have a presence on social media and other local media outlets. If you have previous experience in fundraising and community involvement, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful community liaison should be comfortable asking for donations, enjoy giving lively presentations, and have a passion for helping others. This position is for up to 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Will include, but not limited to: Schedule community presentations at churches, civic groups, Bible studies, and even one-on-one within the community. Conduct or assist with the presentation at each scheduled community presentation. Build an annual fundraising plan Will go face-to-face, asking people to give Apply for grants Weekly check Donor View for donations and properly thank donors Responsible for leading the local Advisory Board See that weekly posts are added to our Social Media platforms Ensure that letters, wins, and donor communications are sent to the YCM HQ as requested. Attend Core Community weekly program twice a month

Requirements:

Youth Core Ministries is a Christian organization, and it is a part of your job at YCM to represent the core values of the ministry. As an employee, you are expected to: Comfortable representing the organization at local events, meetings, and community gatherings. Possess strong communication skills and the ability to speak confidently in public Have essential Computer Skills Maintain professionalism and lifestyle standards in the community and on social media, rooted in a faith-based foundation. Must be able to pass a background check Background in fundraising preferred but not required
