Communications Coordinator Starting Salary Range:

The starting salary for this position will be in the $21.39-$22.04 per hour range, depending on experience, education, and skills relevant to the position. Please note that the indicated starting salary range describes the range for an incumbent in this position. Most new staff generally start at the beginning of the range percentile to ensure internal salary equity.

Location:

Southeast Conservation Corps, Chattanooga, TN, with on-site, hybrid, and fully remote options available.

Program Summary:

Southeast Conservation Corps (SECC) operates conservation service programs throughout the Southeast that focus on meeting the needs of the natural landscapes while empowering youth and adults to cultivate compassion, responsibility, and life skills through community service, hard work, and land stewardship. As a corps program, SECC partners with public land managers to identify, plan and complete projects that improve public access, habitat quality and economic development. SECC is a program of Conservation Legacy, a nationwide network of conservation service organizations founded to move forward the legacy of the Civilian Conservation Corps.

Position Summary:

With direction and input from the Communications Team and the Executive Director, and in coordination with Individual Placement and Crew programming staff, the Communications Coordinator will design and implement outreach strategies for SECC. The successful candidate will lead external communications, coordinate internal story collection, and work with organization-wide Communications staff.
