PLEASE NOTE
This internship must be pre-approved by the College/University and the District
Primary Purpose:
Work with school faculty, staff, students, parents, and community to create meaningful content that helps advance the District's brand, marketing campaigns, and storytelling efforts.
Education:
Currently enrolled undergraduate student. Complete a minimum of 60 semester hours toward a Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Digital Design, or related content. Special Knowledge /
Skills:
Knowledge of Photography, Writing, Graphic Design, & Video Production preferred. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience /
Other Requirements:
Experience working with Social Media. Flexible availability. Entry level skills in photography, writing, and/or graphic design.
Internship Time Period:
The Communications Internship is only valid for the pre-approved Fall or Spring Semester.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist in content creation. Photography Writing feature stories Basic graphic design Video Production Administration Comply with all district and campus routines and regulations. Maintain a positive and effective relationship with supervisors. Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents. Adhere to the ethical and legal standards and model behavior that is professional and responsible.
