May 25th, 2027 As a Marketing & Communications Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the strategic and logistical aspects of event management and marketing. This role focuses on event planning, execution, operational support, and performance tracking—essential skills for a career in marketing.What you will do:
Campaign Development & Activation- Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, physical, owned, and paid media channels.
- Assist in coordinating campaign assets, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
- Help manage campaign calendars and activation workflows to ensure timely delivery. Campaign Content Creation
- Create content for marketing campaigns such as customer emails, blog posts, and videos.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop visually appealing and meaningful workshop materials. Campaign Operations & Analytics
- Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools to assess effectiveness.
- Track marketing KPIs, prepare reports, and provide actionable insights for future initiatives.
- Assist with database management, audience segmentation, and marketing technology platforms. Communication & events support for integrated campaign activations:
- Assist in the preparation of press materials, briefs, media outreach, and organic social for integrated activation support via owned & earned channels.
- Work closely with events & experience team around face-to-face engagements to support the campaigns. Communications Support
- Assist in the preparation of press materials, briefs, and fact sheets for external PR campaigns.
- Work on media outreach initiatives, helping to maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Track and analyze media coverage to assess the effectiveness of PR strategies.
The skills you bring:
- Actively enrolled in an accredited university program on a full-time basis
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program (graduate preferred) in Marketing, Business, Communications, Event Management, or related fields.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to balance multiple projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Curiousity about AI, open to using or familiar with AI-assisted tools or workflows, and eager to deepen their skills in an AI-augmented environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Technical fluency with social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram).
- Must have at least a 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
- Available for a full-time internship for 12 weeks & beyond.
- Familiarity with event planning, marketing platforms, or project management tools is a plus.
