Immediately Job Description The Temporary Communication Engagement Coordinator supports the Office of Communications and Community Engagement by coordinating community outreach efforts, supporting division events, developing community partnerships, and assisting with communication initiatives that promote student success and strengthen engagement with families and community stakeholders. This position requires a creative, organized, and self-motivated individual who can manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively with internal and external partners, and independently support projects from planning through completion. The Temporary Communication Engagement Coordinator reports to the Chief of Communications and Community Engagement and may require occasional evening and weekend hours to support division events. This position is temporary and expected to last 90 days.
Essential Job Functions:
Coordinates scheduling and communication for community engagement bus (ROVER) visits, including collaboration with schools, departments, and community partners. Supports the development and maintenance of community partnerships that enhance school division programs and initiatives. Assists with planning, coordinating, and facilitating division community engagement events, including event logistics, communications, and follow-up activities. Supports the creation, scheduling, and posting of content for division social media platforms and other communication channels. Assists with the development of promotional materials, announcements, and digital content using tools such as Canva and other design platforms. Maintains records, calendars, and tracking documents related to community partnerships, events, and engagement activities. Education and Experience:
Required High School Diploma or GED Prior experience working in marketing, communications, public relations, and/or fundraising. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations or other related field

Employment Terms:
Employment may be offered as an hourly support position. The schedule for this position is structured as 37.5 hours per week. This position is temporary and expected to last 90 days.
